A Time-honored family tradition

2017 marks 107 years that our family has bee in the restaurant business.  From Manuel Martinez opening one of the first eating establishments in Manitou Springs, CO in 1910 to the family establishing the Hard Luck Cafe in 2010 and dozens of restaurants in between, we have always had one goal – Provide the best quality service and food possible.

The Martinez family has cooked for well over two million people including President Lyndon B. Johnson, Walmart founder Sam Walton, country music legends, Roy Clark, David Allen Coe, and Merle Haggard, Motown Hall-of-Fame member Robbie Robinson, rock legend and musical pioneer Dick Dale, former Chicago Cub Mark Grace, the Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China, as well as multiple Congressmen and international diplomats.

The restaurant business is not just a business to us, it is a time honored family tradition.

We are privileged to have you as our guest and look forward to serving you.
